Blueberry Muffins and Coffee for a Group Gift
Bring coffee and sweet treat for your people! It might not make sense to gift each of them something individually or really by the time you break it down...
…it’s hard to find a budget friendly gift that they will actually use. Who needs another mug? Not me! So today we’re gifting a big batch of warm blueberry muffins, hot coffee, and all of the fixings!
Blueberry Muffins
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup canola oil
2 cups sour cream
4 large eggs
3 cups frozen blueberries (still frozen)
raw sugar for sprinkling (optional)
Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
In a separate bowl whisk the oil, sour cream, and eggs until smooth.
To the dry mixture add the blueberries and use your fingers to toss and coat the blueberries. Add the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
Portion about 1/3 cup of batter into each muffin liner and sprinkle with raw sugar if desired. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool slightly and serve warm.
Brewed Coffee
I was going to brew coffee and then pour it into airpots, but it really is so much simpler in the percolator and I feel like the taste is really good! I borrowed this from my mom (because she has several that she uses when we host events—like our bull sale). You just add the water and coffee and let it do it’s thing. If you’re looking for one here’s one similar to the one I used. I add 1/2 cup of ground coffee for every 10 cups of water.
Finish it up!
To round out the gift add coffee, plates, napkins, insulated cups, creamer, butter, and anything else you think would make this a more enjoyable experience!
A few things I think take this to the next level are:
